Perfect Gifts for Teen to Adult Daughters!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of year!
I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve already relished some of my favorite Christmas tunes, and I’m thrilled to be pulling out my favorite sweaters.
And of course, I’m already thinking of the perfect gifts for my family!
Christmas gift giving is a joy!
But let’s face it, sometimes the stress we induce on ourselves to find the perfect Christmas gift can steal some of that joy away. I have made it a priority in my gift giving to be intentional, to try not to overthink it, and to shop at fellow local small businesses, as well as from makers and small businesses wherever I can find them.

I love that feature when I’m not able to find what I”m looking for locally. It still feels good to know that I am supporting families and small businesses just like mine.
With so many people to shop for, I thought I’d dedicate this post to great Christmas gift ideas for daughters, especially the teens to adult ages.

I am going to start with one of my favorite go to gifts, jewelry!
I love looking for the perfect jewelry pieces to fit someones personality and unique style! Luckily here in Duluth, MN we have so many incredible jewelry makers so I tend to get a lot of my gift giving jewelry in person from local makers.

Within the past few years I have actually started my own line of wood jewelry, which makes for a great unique gift! We have been having a lot of fun building our Bailey Builds line of jewelry and have several designs to choose from.
If you’re not having luck with any local jewelers in your area I found an adorable small business on Amazon called Emery and Opal. They have dainty and trendy jewelry that would be a great idea for any daughter.

I also love these gold filled Birth Month Flower necklaces they make. These are so much fun, you could even get a matching one for yourself to make the gift a little more meaningful! There is something so fun about a personalized gift!
I feel like you can almost never go wrong with a solid handmade mug. I don’t have a friend who doesn’t enjoy a special cup for their morning coffee or afternoon tea. This is also a great addition to throw in a gift basket with chocolate and drink mixes. I love getting coffee from Almanac Coffee and Hot Cocoa Mix from Mike & Jens.
I love the array of mugs and pottery we have procured at our Bailey Builds + Friends storefront. This is also a perfect way to support local small businesses. Even if you’re not in Duluth, MN chances are many local stores near you carry local handmade pottery.

It’s that time of time of year where the days are short and the to-do lists are long, so I totally get if you want to hop on Amazon and make a few clicks to get the perfect Christmas presents sent right to your door.

I have recently learned that enamel mugs have made a comeback, and I totally get why. I love how durable they are. I think these would be especially great for daughters currently living in dorms because they don’t have to worry about them breaking.

My next idea for one of the best Christmas gifts or really a gift for any occasion is a really solid handmade bag. I am a firm believer that you can never have too many bags, and I think I have passed that along!
When I am looking for locally crafted totes, backpacks, and other useful goods I make sure to make a trip into some of my cities local shops like Frost River and Duluth pack here in Duluth, MN.
I can always find fun things in my budget made from leather and canvas. And I know from experience that whatever handmade item I buy from these stores will practically never wear out and there is no doubt my daughter will have them for a long time.

My last, but possibly favorite, idea for the best gifts for daughters is anything plant related! Lia loves plants, I mean she LOVES them! So I know anything plant related is always a good idea.
I love gifting plants to celebrate a special occasion ie. Birthday Gifts, Graduation Gifts, Valentine’s Day, an Anniversary gift…but honestly there is never a wrong time for a new plant in my opinion!
Not only do I love gifting plants, but also plant accessories.

Air plants are super easy to care for and make the perfect first time plant if your daughter is just starting to show interest in her green thumb!
